We had our wedding reception here in April of this year. Stuart and his team did a fabulous job organising our reception and they were extremely accommodating for all of our requests - believe me there were LOTS of requests! We booked out the entire Inn and restaurant for our special day.
Our church service was done by Craig Bishop and he was so lovely and again accommodating for what we wanted. Craig made us feel so welcome and his blessing was intimate and overall exceeded my expectations. Our friends and family raved about how special he made it. The church is not as beautiful inside as the slaughters but once you fill it with flowers and people it really comes alive.
The reception was not formal. Our guests were greeted by the staff with champagne and drinks and nibbles. We then chose not to have allocated seating but rather let everyone sit where they wanted and roam freely. I wasn't sure if this was going to work but it really did. The food was a buffet - and again, we had our friends and family raving about how good the food was. The food also exceeded my expectations. It's not often you have people rave about buffet food!
We stayed in their top suite - the one with the bath in the room and then a separate room with a shower etc. Lovely and big. I saw all the rooms and they are all pretty nice. Fun finishes - quite quirky. The staff are a little inexperienced but they were very willing to please so that it really didn't bother us. We really made them work hard over our stay - they did it with a smile!
The Cotswolds is a special place with lots of fabulous accommodation and food. The New Inn is comfortable, the food is good and it has a relaxed atmosphere. It's also in a good location and not too expensive.
The New Inn ... it's great value and relaxed. We saw most of the accommodation options around this area of the Cotswolds and it was by we believe it was BY FAR the best option for what we were looking for. It's worth a visit.
I would definitely recommend the New Inn as a fabulous location for a stylish wedding!"
